I graduated high school with high honors, being forced to sit on stage
with an embarrassing gold medal around my neck. But I was proud of
myself. I worked hard to get that far, and it was largely due to the
encouragement I had.
I graduated college with two degrees and high honors. I had that same
encouragement.
I became an automation engineer, network administrator, and now a
controls engineer….all with the same encouragement as before.
So with the greatest challenges yet still ahead of me, I look back to
the things I accomplished and understand the reasons behind them. One
of the largest reasons is the encouragement I have always had.
There has never been a time in my life that I can think of that I have
not known that kind of support to be there.
And I wanted to thank you for that. I have the ability to be me because
of your continued support and encouragement.
Thanks mom.
