Holidays, Family and Friends.....How rich I am!! Thank you, Lord!!

The holidays are such a wonderful time. Whether or not you have a large family. Those you love and that love you , back, are what make life grand. Our friends and family share our lives. In the end, that's what truly has value. I love the holidays 'cause they get every ones attention, and, often they give us some extra time off from the job, and an extra excuse to get together with those we love.
Happy Holidays everyone!!!! Love, live and laugh, like there's no tomarrow!!! Truethfully, there might not be!!!! God Bless!!! Love yuns, you know who you are!!!!

Death...

I just learned that in the realm of Taro card reading, the Death card doesn't really signify a death. It means transition, or change. I watched a show that I hadn't seen before and learned of this tidbit. It's really strange how many instants that you hear the word, death used in different art forms: music lyrics, poems, etc.... It is interesting if you substitute the word, change, for the word, death, it really has a totally new view point. Just something to make you say, MMMMMMHHHHH!!!
I want to wish everyone a "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!" God Bless and Help us all, and may he please make us a true blessing to all !!!!!

Subject: Twisted murder mystery

This is bizarre!

For those who have served on jury...this one is something to think

About..Just when you think you have heard everything!! Do you like
To read a good murder mystery? Not even Law and Order would attempt to
Capture this mess. This is an unbelievable twist of fate!!!

At the 1994 annual awards dinner given for Forensic Science,

(AAFS)President Dr. Don Harper Mills astounded his audience with the
Legal complications of a bizarre death. Here is the story:

On March 23, 1994 the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald
Opus, and concluded that he died from a shotgun wound to the head. Mr.
Opus had jumped from the top of a ten-story building intending to commit
Suicide. He left a note to the effect indicating his despondency.
As he fell past the ninth floor, his life was interrupted by a
Shotgun blast passing through a window, which killed him instantly. Neither
The shooter nor the deceased was aware that a safety net had been
Installed just below the eighth floor level to protect some building workers
And that Ronald Opus would not have been able to complete his suicide the
Way he had planned.

The room on the ninth floor, where the shotgun blast emanated, was
Occupied by an elderly man and his wife. They were arguing vigorously
And he was threatening her with a shotgun! The man was so upset that
When he pulled the trigger, he completely missed his wife, and the pellets
Went through the window, striking Mr. Opus. When one intends to kill
Subject 'A' but kills subject 'B' in the attempt, one is
Guilty of the murder of subject 'B.'

When confronted with the murder charge, the old man and his wife
Were both adamant, and both said that they thought the shotgun was not
Loaded. The old man said it was a long- standing habit to threaten his wife
With the unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her. Therefore,
The killing of Mr. Opus appeared to be an accident; that is, assuming
The gun had been accidentally loaded.

The continuing investigation turned up a witness who saw the old
couple's son loading the shotgun about six weeks prior to the
Fatal accident. It transpired that the old lady had cut off her son's
Financial support and the son, knowing the propensity of his father
To use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that his father
Would shoot his mother.

Since the loader of the gun was aware of this, he was guilty of the
Murder even though he didn't actually pull the trigger. The case
Now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald
Opus.

Now for the exquisite twist... Further investigation revealed that
The son was, in fact, Ronald Opus. He had become increasingly despondent
Over the failure of his attempt to engineer his mother's murder. This
Led him to jump off the ten-story building on March 23rd, only to be killed
By a shotgun blast passing through the ninth story window. The son,
Ronald Opus, had actually murdered himself. So the medical examiner closed
The case as a suicide.

A true story from Associated Press.

All good things.....

Well it is indeed a sad time. A close friend of my sister's family, and someone I regarded very highly, as she did everyone she met, has passed on after a battle with cancer.
Of course she never smoked, was health conscious, since she was a nurse and worked in the health care industry, and she was one of the, "good guys".
I'd like to take a moment to pass her name about and ask that all who read it, say it when saying a prayer of comfort and guidance for those she left behind. She loved truly and was loved truly. She always will be loved and remembered. Sincerely a wonderful person whom we all would have been bless to know. Her name is Susan (Fulytar), she was 54 years old and brought much love, guidance and care into this world to whomever crossed her path. She will always be missed. God bless you and yours, Susan.

Sunshine....

Ah, There was indeed sunshine out there today!!! Tomorrow is suppose to be even nicer, however, come Tues. there is suppose to be a chance of snow!!! Wow, from the 70's to snow. I really don't have much to say, but I will update a few things. I recently had to do some clothing shopping since I put on about 25 pounds!! I wanted to put on a little weight, but I think enough is enough. I really can't afford to buy more clothes. Well, anyway, I'm trying to eat more healthy. Not so much bad fat, and not so much sodium. So, that's about all that is currently going on right now. Hope everyone has lots of fun in the sun.

Still Cold

Well guess what? Yep, it is still cold (I mean teeth chattering, cold) outside! It's suppose to warm up here in my neck of the Ohio woods though in a couple of days and today is, in fact, in the double digits above freezing. My sister lives in Marion, Ohio and has been experiencing highs in the -17 and -18 degree temperatures. She's well though. She and her husband and their home have survived the temperatures thus far without problems, although her husband has caught a cold. Hope you feel better soon, Roy!!! Usually my apartment has temperatures in the low 60's. I don't control the thermostat and while others boil, I freeze. Go figure!!! Seems to be my lot in life lately, my last apartment was the same way!!! However, since this really cold weather, it's pretty toasty (comparatively speaking) in my apartment. I'll never figure this place out!! I am not complaining at all though-in fact, I'm thrilled. Well, I hope all you out there in the real world are doing well. Bye for now.

Ahh...Sundays

Well, yesterday and today have been big snow days.  Most everything got closed down for both days.  It was nice to have an excuse to just lounge around the house.  I did just that and not much else.
My son's plane to Texas still left out of the Erie Airport and although he got there safely, thank you God, his luggage did not.  He is still hopeful that he'll get it.  I hope so.  He was sent there by the company he works for.  Still, I hope he can  experience a little bit of Texas before coming home.  It's awesome that he is clear across the country!!
Soon I'll be getting the converter box for my TV.  I hope I can still use my VCR to record shows.  I'll have to do some research to find out.  Well all for now!!!
